Community Supported Agriculture

also known as CSA Flower Share

What is a CSA Flower Share?

A CSA Flower Share is a farming model that prioritizes fairness and transparency for both farmers and consumers alike - it works similarly to a typical subscription.

How Does it Work?

By joining our CSA, you invest in our farm ahead of the growing season, helping us plan and grow a diverse array of blooms just for you. In return, you’ll receive a bi-weekly bouquet filled with seasonal flowers, hand-harvested and arranged with care. Each bouquet is unique, showcasing the best blooms our fields have to offer. With every pickup or delivery, you’ll enjoy the freshest flowers, grown sustainably and with love right here on the farm!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Beyond supporting a local flower farm, including the farm’s cost of seeds, bulbs, and infrastructure investments for the upcoming season, the per-bouquet cost of a CSA is less than the equivalent bouquet purchased individually.

Additionally, our CSA arrangements are filled with the best blooms that the field has to offer on any given week.

Lastly, being a CSA member in any given season may come with additional perks such as a special invite to tour our farm. More details to be provided in separate communications.

  • We offer multiple options, allowing you to customize your CSA experience. These include separate and combined seasons, various size options (wrapped bouquet vs. vase arrangement), and various pickup/delivery options.

  • CSA’s for the coming season go live for sale in mid-late November. Our newsletter subscribers receive early access before the general public, so be sure to sign up!

  • Yes! Our online store includes options for gift purchases, just follow the prompts and complete all of the requested information. We will even send a gift certificate to the purchaser that can be given to the recipient!

  • At the time of the purchase, you will receive an e-mail with a confirmation (check your spam folder if you don’t see anything in your inbox). If you indicate that the purchase is a gift, you will also receive a gift certificate within several days of the initial confirmation.

Next, a countdown e-mail with general information of what to expect will be sent to the recipient of the CSA sometime prior to the beginning of the season (usually a month or two prior to the beginning of the CSA).

Lastly, complete details along with a tentative schedule of the CSA will be sent to the recipient of the CSA several weeks prior to the beginning of the CSA. This tentative schedule will provide the dates on which the bouquet will be ready for pickup/delivery.

  • Bouquets will be ready for pickup/delivery on Wednesdays.

  • We offer several options for fulfillment, which must be selected at the time of purchase.

    Options include:

Pickup at The Studio on our farm (Millcreek)

    Pickup at Ember+Forge (Downtown Erie)

Pickup at E. Lane Boutique (West Erie Plaza)

    Delivery to limited zipcodes

The recipient will receive a text message and e-mail on the morning of their pickup/delivery, notifying them that their bouquet will be ready on that day.

  • Unfortunately, we are not able move or reschedule pickups due to the complexity of our carefully planned CSA distribution. If you are unable to make a pickup date, we highly suggest you have a friend or family member pick it up on your behalf or as a gift - friends love being gifted flowers, and gifting flowers is the best! Otherwise, we are unable to make up a date due to a missed pickup.

CSA’s for the 2025 season will go live in mid-late November!
